This is the type of tracing paper I would recommend for most sewing projects:

Dritz Tracing Paper- 2 Styles

Dritz Tracing Paper- 2 Styles

"Dritz Single Face Tracing Paper -6""x19"" 5 Sheets: Wax Free Tracing Papers transfers pattern markings and designs for sewing & needlecraft projects. Choose from Single or Double Face Tracing papers * Wax Free Single Face Tracing Paper- contains 1 of each (white, Yellow, Orange, Red & Blue papers) * Wax Free Dble Face Tracing Paper- Allows you to mark 2 layers with single sheet of paper"

Mark-B-Gone tracing paper is fine if you complete your project within a day. However, if you're going to work on it over several weeks, it's not a good choice as your marks will disappear!

"Dritz Mark-B-Gone Tracing Paper - 10""x11"" Purple"

"Mark-B-Gone Tracing Paper 10""x11"". Marks disappear within 24-72 hours or can be removed with damp cloth. Great for all sewing and craft projects. * Comes 1 in a pack * Great for all sewing and craft projects * Marks disappear in 24-72 hours * Marks can be removed with a damp cloth"
