| Try on your pajamas/skirt, and pin the fabric at the length you would like the hem to be. Take off the pants or skirt and press the hemline. Baste close to the edge. |

| Trim the excess fabric. Turn under the raw edge 1/4" and baste. |
|
| Stitch close to the edge, exactly as you did with the waistband. |
